Arsenal suffered their first defeat in their last eight games in the Premier League as they lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium on Tuesday.
A nice solo effort from Nicolas Pepe provided the opening goal of the fixture as the Ivorian International sent a brilliant curler into the back of the net to give Arsenal the 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute.
Arsenal were down to 10 men as David Luiz was sent off in the 45+4 minute after receiving a straight red card for rough challenge on William Jose in the penalty area.
Ruben Neves stepped up & smashed a shot to the top right corner of the net in the 45+5 minute to make it 1-1 at half time.
Wolves started the second half of the fixture with a bang as Joao Moutinho sent a belter from 30 yards out into the back of the net to give Wolves the 2-1 lead in the 49th minute. Pedro Neto provided the assist.
The game eventually ended 2-1 at full time as Wolves claimed all three points at home.

Arsenal remains at the 10th spot on the Premier League table with 31 points while Wolves have now climbed up to the 13th spot on the table with 26 points.
