Sequel to what happened on Sunday night at the Horror Show "Extreme rules"
Would this be the end of the WWE legend. This is the most incredible match I have ever seen and as such disgusts me.
I was anticipating that Rey Mysterio would get his pay back on Seth but unfortunately his eye was sacrificed for the course only Seth can justify.
With this action would you still think wrestling is being acted? That is fake?
I might be assuming but on seeing this and watching the match which took place I certainly don't believe it is scripted.
I couldn't post any pictures of it in order to abide by Opera article policy.
It was reported that WWE claimed that Mysterio was rushed to hospital and was set to be treated for a potential globe luxation.
It read: "Medical experts were optimistic that if the optic nerve is not severed and there is not too much strain on the blood vessels and nerves that connect the eye to the rest of the head, there's a chance Mysterio can maintain his vision."
Many had hoped the match would be 'cinematic', with the Boneyard and Firefly Funhouse matches standing out in the empty arena era.
However, the spot resulted in minimal blood and a prop eye was used to sell the injury.
Fans have reacted to the segment at 'The Horror Show' and they think it could be one of the weirdest things the promotion has ever done.
This would certainly cause emotional pain to his children: Dominic Gutierrez, Aalyah Gutierrez and his spouse Angie.
This may no doubt lead to his early retirement from the WWE prior to the rain injury he had sustained.
From the Author's desk; Remembering your work you would be greatly missed by all.
Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs.
Get well soon #Rey#
