Barca 0-3 Bayern Munich : Observations From Yesterday's Champions League Clash

The UEFA champions league returned back to action yesterday and as such, a lot of actions were displayed.

One of highlight's from Yesterday champions league encounter was the game between Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Nagelsmann's first Champions League game with Bayern Munich got off to a great start as his team thoroughly outsmarted Barcelona from all angles.

Below are two observations from yesterday's champions league clash.

1. Bayern defence is strong.

One of the major Observations from yesterday's clash is the fact the Bayern's defence is very strong. Bayern Munich, a club that likes to press all the time, kept a clean sheet against Barcelona and didn't allow them to have a single shot on target.

2. Lewandowski is still a prolific striker.

Right from the beginning of the game, it was quite evident that Barcelona wanted to prevent Lewandowski from scoring and they did that for the entire period of the first half.

However, after the restart, Lewandowski scored his first goal of the game just ten minutes into the second half and finally completed his brace at the 85th minute.

Lewandowski is one of the best footballers in the world and it is close to impossible to keep him from scoring in a game.
