Three Changes Lampard Should Make To Defeat Arsenal At The Emirates Stadium

Chelsea have been out of form throughout the season. The team have been inconsistent and have struggled to score goals this season and this is why the team are currently 12th in the Premier League table and are at the risk of missing out on European competition next season.

Arsenal on the other hand have been in great form this season and the team are currently in the race to win the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years. The team are currently 2nd in the Premier League and are just 3 points behind Manchester City.

Tonight, Chelsea face Arsenal at the Emirates stadium and Arsenal look like favourites going into this tie but Chelsea have a chance to turn things around. Here are three changes Lampard should make to defeat Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

1.Start Sterling:

Raheem Sterling has been inconsistent this season and this has been mostly due to injuries. However, the Player has a good record against Arsenal. Sterling scores against Arsenal on a regular basis and this will be a great asset for Chelsea if they want to defeat Arsenal tonight.

2.Play an attacking football:

Chelsea have been playing a defensive minded football under Lampard. This is why the team has been unable to score goals. If Chelsea wants to defeat Arsenal they need to play an attacking style of football and make use of their players pace to defeat Arsenal.

3.Bench Havertz:

Chelsea need a Striker who can finish and Kai Havertz can’t do this. Havertz has missed a lot of chances that have cost Chelsea this season. Lampard needs to bench Havertz because they will need good attackers that can finish off decent chances given that the team might not get many chances against Arsenal.

Arsenal are currently favourites to win this tie but Chelsea can turn things around and defeat the Gunners if Lampard makes these changes.

What do you think?, Can Chelsea defeat Arsenal?
