4 Key Players That Would Be Missing In Action For Chelsea Against Juventus In The UCL

Just as the UEFA Champions League matches continue this week, the defending champions of the competition, Chelsea Football Club is scheduled to travel to Juventus for their next game of the Group stages of the competition.

It should be recalled that the Blues are one of the teams tipped to win the trophy most especially as the defending Champions this season.

Chelsea FC won the first match against Zenith at Stamford Bridge a week ago by a lone goal scored by the lethargy striker, Romelu Lukaku.

As Chelsea is about to play the second game in the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stages against Juventus, some of the key players would not be available for the Club due to injuries sustained as confirmed by the club manager Thomas Tuchel.

In this write-up, we shall be considering how the absence of these players might affect the Blues against their next opponent, Juventus FC.

The 4 Key Players That Would Be Missing In Action For Chelsea Football Club in the Champions League against Juventus are listed below:

The fact is that the absence of these players may spell doom for the Blues because they form the engine room of the Club. Though there are capable replacements for these players, the fact that they are in the first eleven of the Club means that they are ahead of their substitutes in terms of delivery and performance.

It should be noted that the Blues lost their last game in the English Premier League against Manchester City by a lone goal scored by Gabriel Jesus towards the end of the match. It would therefore not be too good for Chelsea FC to lose another game in a row especially in the Champions League where they are the defending champions.

Do you see Chelsea winning the game against Juventus away from home? Who are the players that Thomas Tuchel should introduce to replace these players that would be missing in action in the Champions League?
