Manchester United could complete a deal for 35-year old English player in summer.

Manchester United have been working towards strengthen their squad when transfer window re-opens, as they have been linked with a move for some quality players in recent times.

However, the Red Devils are looking forward to adding depth to their goalkeeping department, as they are reportedly eyeing up summer move for an English goalkeeper.

The English player joined Aston Villa from Burnley in 2019, after a transfer fee worth €8.80million was paid to Burnley. Meanwhile, he has fallen down the pecking order behind Aston Villa's first choice goalkeeper Martinez, as he's yet to feature in a single English Premier League match this season.

Moreover, the 35-year old goalkeeper Tom Heaton's deal at Aston Villa is expected to terminate in June, making him a free agent at the end of the season.

In other news, Manchester United will be taking on AS Roma on Thursday, in an attempt to contend for UEFA Europa League title.
