The summer transfer window is finally came to a close on August 31st at midnight with clubs racing against time to beat the deadline and sign their respective transfer targets ranging from the important Player transfers to the unimportant ones.
A lot of teams made some crucial signings on transfer deadline day and sold some Players to other clubs with teams discussing deals with the knowledge of little or no time before the deadline. Here are the top 5 Player transfer deals that happened just before the 11 pm August 31st deadline :
5. Reiss Nelson to Feyenoord .
The Arsenal winger left the Gunners on transfer deadline day to sign for the Dutch club on loan with an option to buy. Nelson failed to break into the Arteta's Arsenal team hence his move to the Eredivise.
Arsenal were really busy in offloading Players as that was the case for Spanish full back, Hector Bellerin. The defender left the Gunners on transfer deadline day to Real Betis on loan after falling out of favour in Mikel Arterta's team.
