Edouard Mendy kept a clean sheet today in Chelsea's 1:0 victory over Westham United. Timo Werner's strike in the 43rd minutes, following a low cross from Ben Chilwell sealed the victory for Chelsea, as the Blues move three points shove Westham in 4th position on the EPL Table.
Werner could have doubled the lead for Chelsea in the second half, but the German missed a sitter, as the game ended 1:0 in favour of Chelsea. Chelsea have now kept 10 clean sheets under Thomas Tuchel in 14 English Premier League games this season, since he took over, after Frank Lampard was sacked. Chelsea have also conceded the fewest number of shots (51) in the box since then.
