Manchester United should not offer new contracts to these 4 players when their contracts expire.

Some Manchester United players will be out of contract with the club next summer. The red devils could renew the contract of some of these players while they might not renew some.

The club should not renew the contracts of some players because they are not helping the team. In my opinion, Manchester United should not offer new contracts to these 4 players when their contracts expire.

1 - Juan Mata: The Spanish midfielder has become a bench warmer for the red devils this season and this might continue for as long as he is still a member of the team because he is ageing and he is no longer performing very well.

The former Chelsea midfielder is now 33 years of age and there will be no need for the club to offer him a new contract because he has been struggling for enough playing time at the club.

2 - Jesse Lingard: The England international might be a very good player, but he has not been having enough playing time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and that is really affecting his career as a footballer.

The club should allow him to join a new club where he will be given enough playing time instead of renewing his contract so that he will continue to stay on the bench and earn high wages.

3 - Paul Pogba: The French midfielder is not a very consistent player for Manchester United, but he is among the players who are earning very high wages at the club this season.

There will be enough space for the club to sign another prolific midfielder if the 28-year-old world cup winner is allowed to leave the club. He is not a very good midfielder and he has also contributed to Manchester United's poor performance this season.

4 - Edinson Cavani: The Uruguayan is ageing and he is no longer performing at optimum level for Manchester United football club. He is now 34 years of age and he might not be able to perform well next season.

In your own opinion, which of these players do you think should be offered a new contract by Manchester United? Share your thoughts with us, thanks.
