Arsenal anticipates another high-profile departure of a key midfielder during what promises to be a busy summer for Mikel Arteta's side, which will also be looking to strengthen their squad.

Arsenal is expected to sell players who are no longer needed, with Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira, and Ainsley Maitland Niles among those expected to depart the Emirates.

Danny Ceballos, on loan from Real Madrid, has ruled out staying at Arsenal beyond this season, and it is now clear that he will return to his native Spain at the season's end.
