Nigeria is one of the countries expected to challenge for the 2021 African Cup of Nations title in Cameroon.

The biennial competition holds between January 9-February 6 and Coach Gernot Rohr must try to prosecute the tournament with Nigeria's best legs.

The current Super Eagles squad have shown glimpse of what they can do on their day, but it's obvious that many of them still lack title winning experience and the coach must solve this problem.

Rohr previously talked about his desire to have Odion Ighalo in the squad and after looking at the squad, I think the German was right by wanting more experience in the team for the tournament.

Talking about experience, apart from Ighalo, another player who can bring valuable experience to the team at the moment is former Chelsea player Victor Moses.

Moses made name for himself as a world class winger during his six years stint with the Super Eagles from 2012-2018, scoring 12 goals in 36 appearances and winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations.

A lot has changed in the three years since Victor Moses' last game for the Super Eagles , when he scored a brilliant penalty against Argentina, so what would his return mean for the team ?

Moses could be the missing piece in Rohr's attack :

Despite playing in the Russian league, and Moses is still one of the Nigeria's finest attacking talents on his day. He has contributed immersely to Spartak Moscow's qualifications for this season champions league.

The winger was at his creative best on Wednesday night to propel his club to 4-0 win over Rubin Kazan in a pre-season game.

Moses is in the best form of his life at moment, He has scored four goals in four pre season matches for Spartak Moscow and he can easily transform his form to the National team.

Versatility :

Since the exit of Yakubu Aiyegbeni from the Super Eagles, Moses remain the best penalty taker to ever play for Nigeria. His good crosses would also be a very good asset for the like Paul Onuachu and Victor Osimhen.
