Germany were held to a 3-3 draw by Switzerland in the Uefa Nations League on Tuesday.

Switzerland got off to a good start in the opening minutes of the game as they opened the scoring in the 5th minute through Mario Gavranovic to make it 1-0.

Remo Freuler doubled the lead for Switzerland through an excellent chip shot in the 26th minute to make it 2-0.

Germany responded quickly to the second goal scored by Switzerland as Timo Werner pulled a goal back for Germany in the 29th minute to make it 2-1 at half time.

Kai Havertz scored the equaliser for Germany in the 55th minute to make it level at 2-2.

Mario Gavranovic scored his brace to restore Switzerland's to 3-2 in the 57th minute.

Serge Gnabry made it level for the second time for Germany as he scored an excellent back heel goal in the 60th minute to make it 3-3. Timo Werner provided the assist.

Switzerland were down to 10 men in the 90+5 minute as Fabian Schar was sent off for challenge on Julian Draxler.

The game ended 3-3 at full time with both teams sharing points. Germany having played their third draw in the Uefa Nations League are now on the second spot on their group table.
