It's a tough pill to swallow but there's nothing that Football enthusiasts can do about it other than to embrace it. Over the next 14 days, your favourite Football Stars won't play for their respective clubs as the English premier league, Spanish La liga, French Ligue 1 and other top flight Leagues across Europe goes on a two-week International break.
Players invited by their Nations will be contesting for a spot in the Finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup as Qualifiers will be played across all Continents including Africa, South America and Some parts of Europe.
The Four Countries will be vying to emerge as the Winner of the second edition of the European tournament after Cristiano Ronaldo led the Portuguese National team to the glory of the maiden edition.
While many Chelsea Players will stay back at London, a lot of their teammates were invited by their Country either for the World Cup qualifiers or the UEFA Nation's League showdown. We'll take a look at where, and what some of these Players will be doing in the next few days.
Romelu Lukaku, Michy Batshuayi and N'Golo Kante
Romelu Lukaku and Michy Batshuayi were both invited and could represent the Belgium National team during their Semifinals of the UEFA Nation's League against France. The current Belgium National team has been seen as the Golden generation of the European Nation, unfortunately, they haven't been able to win any title. Defeating the Les Bleus of France is a step closer to winning the UEFA Nation's League for the Belgian Red Devils.
The France National team will be without N'Golo Kante as he's currently in isolation after testing positive for the Corona Virus.
Emerson Palmieri, Jorginho, Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso
These four Chelsea Players were invited by their country for the UEFA Nation's League. Emerson Palmieri and Jorginho could be granted a start by Roberto Mancini when the Italian National team face the Spanish National team at the Semi finals of the UEFA Nation's League.
Cesar Azpilicueta also returned to the Spanish Squad after his appearance for the Spanish team in Euro 2020. Marcos Alonso was also invited by Luis Enrique and could don the Spanish National team jersey for the first since he was last invited in 2018.
Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell
The two Chelsea Stars join Gareth Southgate Squad for the double-header World Cup qualifiers of the three Lions. The England National team will travel to Andorra on Saturday for their First match before hosting Hungary at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday.
Antonio Rudiger, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz
The three of them were invited and could represent the Germany National team in their World Cup qualifiers at home against Romania on Friday and away at North Macedonia next Monday.
Andreas Christensen will be representing the Denmark National team in their World cup Qualifiers against Moldova and Austria.
