Hi all, top of the day to you. How did your weekend betting go? My Saturday prediction turned out 80% success and my Sunday predictions didn’t do badly either: 10 correct predictions out of 12 games. Roma lost at home when I double chanced them to win or draw and Wydad drew at home when I predicted a home win.
But it’s all good. Like I always say, you don’t have to play all the games. What I do here is give as much options as possible.
There are a couple of good games from now till Wednesday and I have picked out the best 10 to look through.
ARSENAL vs LEEDS
Gunners ready for Leeds. Pic via arsenal.com
Monday night’s encounter at the Emirates will sure bring all sorts of emotions for me. Did I tell you I am an Arsenal fan? Well, now you know.
Thierry Henry scoring four incredible goals on Easter Monday in Arsenal's Invincible Season or Thierry Henry scoring on his return to Arsenal in 2012?
Which gets you pumped?
Sorry, I won’t talk about Leeds beating Arsenal to win the 1972 FA Cup but you get my drift: Arsenal vs Leeds is a must watch.
Add the spice of getting to see one of my favourite managers Marcelo Bielsa in action with the Championship side on course for a return to the Premier League for the first time since 2004.
PREDICTION: I think we should see goals in this one. I will go for a Chance Mix of GG or Over 2.5. You could also try out total goals of over 2.5 here too or an Arsenal home win.
ATALANTA vs PARMA
Two in-form teams go head to head in this battle. The home side have won four of their last five and their opponents aren’t far off with three wins in their last five games. More importantly, four of the last six meetings between the pair has seen at least three goals. Though the other two games were a goalless encounter and a 1:0 win, I expect goals in this clash.
Parma's Gervinho. Will he score against Atalanta? Pic via jmgmanagement.pro
PREDICTION: I am also going for a Chance Mix here of home win or over 2.5. You can try the GG or Over 2.5 route or simply bet total goals of over 2.5.
AL HILAL vs AL AHLI
Asian Champions Al Hilal will continue their quest to reclaim the domestic title when they host another rival Al Ahli on Tuesday evening. Hilal are currently second on the log but crucially have played two games less than league leaders, Ahmed Musa’s Nassr FC who by the way won the domestic Super Cup over the weekend.
Though the Saudi league is known for goals, you should be a bit wary of this fixture which traditionally witnesses less goals. Four of the last six encounters between the pair has ended in 1:0 victories. On the other hand, the other two fixtures saw more than four goals. Unpredictable right?
PREDICTION: Draw or Over 2.5
Juventus vs agliari - Home win
Napoli vs Inter - Over 1.5
Manchester United vs Manchester City - GG or Over 2.5
FC Köln vs KV Mechelen - Over 1.5
Borussia Dortmund vs Standard Liege - GG or Over 2.5
Leicester City vs Aston Villa - Over 1.5
Enyimba vs Kwara United - Home win
Alright folks. That’s about it from me for the midweek games. I will be back on Friday for more betting analysis. Remember, always bet with what you can afford to let go.
