UEFA Champions League

Bad news for Chelsea fans as defender will be out for 4-6 weeks.

Chelsea defender Reece James was substituted in the early minutes of the week 6 English premier league match against Manchester City.

Reece James was replaced by Thiago Silva – which wouldn’t usually be a downgrade in any shape or form. But the problem is that Silva has a slight injury – the very reason the veteran defender star didn’t start the Match in the first place.

According reports, Reece James was injured in his Ankle and he might likely miss the UEFA champions league match against Juventus on Wednesday.

According to a tweet put out by Dr Rajpal Brar (h/t, Chelsea fc could lose the defender for up to 4-6 weeks due to an ankle injury.

With this, the European champions will have to proceed to their next matches without James as they hope he rejoins the squad as soon as possible.

Following their loss to Man City in the EPL, Chelsea fc will now face Juventus in their next match in the UEFA Champions League.
