Opinion: Mikel Arteta Should Use This Starting Lineup Against Brentford Tomorrow

The English Premier League officially starts tomorrow and Arsenal will be the big team to kick-start the season in a match against newly promoted side, Brentford. It will no doubt be a tough match as Brentford will want to announce their arrival in the Premier League in style, while Arsenal on the other will want to make a statement as they push for the top four.

Considering how the transfer market has turned out for the gunners, only three new additions have been made to the current squad. Out of these signings, only Ben White is considered as a starter, while Lokonga and Tavares are regarded as squad player. In a nutshell, there haven't been a massive change to the side, and the starting Lineup will basically be made up of old players, who finished in 8th position.

Eyebrows will be raised to see the starting Lineup Mikel Arteta uses, but to get the best result, the starting lineup I will share below is what I consider as the best that the manager can field in. A starting lineup made up of; Leno, White, Mari, Tierney, Chambers, Lokonga, Xhaka, Rowe, Saka, Pepe and Aubameyang will be the best for tomorrow.

21-year-old Lokonga replaces Thomas Partey, who sustained an injury in the friendly game against Chelsea, while Ben White comes in for Rob Holding. Given Aubameyang's poor form, I would have loved Lacazette to start up front, but the front three is the best in terms of pace and decisiveness.
