Chelsea have already completed the signing of Ajax star Hakim Ziyech and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner, but Chelsea lost a great player, Mario Pasalic, the Croatian international spent six years at Stamford Bridge and did not feature in a single game for the Blues.
The 25 year-old midfielder was sold in January to Atlanta in a £13.5m deal, as the Blues boss Frank Lampard freed up space for the new incoming signings.
The former Chelsea star scored an Hattrick against Brescia, to prove to the Blues they lost a great player and put Atlanta just behind Juventus on the second position on the Serie A table.
The Croatian international has been in impressive form so far, scoring 11 goals and contributing 7 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.
And Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment and with some Chelsea midfielder underperforming. See reactions below.
- He’s better than everything we have now..
- Watching Pasalic score in Atlanta Jersey and watching Jorginho play for Chelsea makes me sick.
- Why did Chelsea sell Mario Pasalic to Atalanta, please?
- PASALIC HATTRICK and these Chelsea fans called him deadwood uno. They lost a real one.
