Arsenal Working On Loan Deal to Sign James Maddison

Mikel Arteta

Arsenal's search for a new attacking midfielder this summer has so far been centered around James Maddison & Martin Odegaard. Now there appears to be a new name in the mix

Aouar is once again being considered behind closed doors, according to The Athletic's.

The report state that the Gunners are looking into negotiating a loan deal for the player and, a fee of 25m euros is likely to be enough to sign him permanently.

A loan deal would be best if it included an option to buy at around £22m. He will be worth a lot more at the end of his loan deal if he adapts well.

As a result of the player's profile and his obvious talent and potential, the club has decided to give him a try before committing big sums of money to sign him permanently.

Despite not being a natural number 10, Aouar has featured in a variety of roles, as well as playing from the left.

This loan deal should, in my opinion, be pursued by Arsenal in addition to signing Odegaard or Maddison. Elneny, Willian, and Maitland-Niles should all be sold.

According to a source in Spain today, Arsenal have made a substantial bid for an attacking midfielder. While Mikel Arteta will be anxious to add more players to his squad before the transfer window ends, the Gunners will have to increase their offer in order to land their desired player.

The report Claimed that Arsenal had already made an offer to purchase Odegaard for approximately 50 million euros (£42million), but it was rejected by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is still undecided about his future, and according to Defensa Central, the club will only allow him to depart if he receives an offer of between 50 million and 70 million euros.

It is however certain that Arsenal will recruit another attacking midfielder this month, whether it's Odegaard or someone else.
