Transfer News: Real Madrid eyeing move for Richarlison; Man City keen on Kimmich

Real Madrid eyeing move for Richarlison

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison in the summer according to Defensa Central. The Brazilian had earlier played under Ancelotti at Everton and the Italian manager reportedly wants to reunite with his former pupil.

Man City keen on Kimmich

The Sun reports that Manchester City form part of the chase for Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich. It may be that the Premier League champions use Joao Cancelo – who is currently on loan at the Allianz Arena – as a sweetener in any deal for another Germany international that could step into Ilkay Gundogan’s boots at the Etihad Stadium.

Villa and Wolves lead chase for Diarra

Aston Villa and Wolves are among nine Premier League clubs chasing the signature of Strasbourg attacking midfielder Habib Diarra, reports The Sun.

Forest to pursue permanent Henderson deal

The Telegraph reports that Nottingham Forest will pursue a permanent deal for Dean Henderson this summer after taking him on loan from Manchester United in 2022. The England international goalkeeper has endured injury issues at the City Ground, but his parent club are said to be open to a sale and the 26-year-old would like to remain with Forest after seeing them retain their Premier League status.

Arsenal urged to sign Lukaku

Arsenal icon Paul Merson has urged the Gunners to pursue a summer move for out-of-favour Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku in order to ease the burden on Gabriel Jesus at the top of the pitch next season. He told GiveMeSport: "Jesus can play anywhere, so if you buy a striker he could still get in the team. He could play with a striker. Arsenal’s squad is bare, it wasn’t strong enough to win the league. "They need to buy players. Top quality players. Manchester City are head and shoulders above everybody so you need to get stronger just to compete. "Ivan Toney would have suited Arsenal, but that won’t happen now because of his ban. Romelu Lukaku might be available. "The 30-year-old is an out-and-out centre-forward. He will stay up front and back into players, that might help Arsenal."
