It was an excellent Wednesday night of football for Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu as he scored a brace for Genk against Royal Antwerp.

Paul Onuachu netted a brace for KRC Genk in their Belgian Jupiler League game against Royal Antwerp.

Fresh from signing a new deal, the Nigerian international broke the deadlock inside the opening 10 minutes, before scoring the on the 80th minutes.

Although, the brace weren't enough to get Genk a win, but it's an indication that the striker is getting back to the level he was last season.

Onuachu netted 35 goals in all competitions in the 2020-2021 campaign, but struggled when the season started after failing to secure a transfer away from the Club.

The good thing now is that, Onuachu is happy at the club again and the fans will to see the best of him from now on.

He's a vital to whatever Genk will achieve this season and his new form will surely delight coach John Van Den Brom, but the overall performance of the team will give him something to worry about.

Onuachu has shown that he will always score important goals, but wont guaranteed them three points , if others don't step up.

He has scored in almost all their matches this season, but he hardly celebrate victory and it down to others factors.

Genk has one of the worst defensive record in the top flight division and they have to solve it, to make Onuachu's goals count at the end of the season.
