With speculations that Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelloti is planning on luring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the Santiago Bernabeu, the Italian has no quashed those reports, insisting that the Real Madrid legend is not in his plans, neither has he asked the Real Madrid board to re-sign him from Juventus FC.

He disclosed this through his official Twitter handle as published on LiveScore News.

He said: "Cristiano Ronaldo is a Real Madrid legend. And I really respect him, but I have never asked or planned to sign Cristiano this summer. We're looking forward."

Real Madrid, like FC Barcelona, have a very tight budget for transfers and wages at the moment as La Liga Clubs continues to feel the impact of the post-Covid-19. But should they decide to bring in another marquee signing, PSG Kylian Mbappe remains a likely target considering his young age.

However, Juventus FC as reported, are asking for just £25m from any potential suitor considering Cristiano Ronaldo has only a year left on his current contract with the Turin outfit. If no move materialises this summer, he will have to wait until next summer when his contract expires to join either PSG or Manchester United. Only time will tell.
