Real Madrid Legend expected to make a return to his former club

Legendary Spanish and Real Madrid shot-stopper is expected to return to his former side - not a player but as an advisor to Club President Florentino Perez.

The 39 year old started his career at Real Madrid's youth team, becoming the youngest goalkeeper to play and win the Champions League at the age of 19. He went on to secure an arsenal of trophies which includes; 5 La Liga titles, 4 Supercopa de España titles, 2 Copa del Rey titles, 3 UEFA Champions leagues , 2 UEFA Super Cups , 1 Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup . In his time at Porto fc, he went on to add two more trophies, Primeira Liga and a Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira.

On an international level, he has 167 caps for Spain winning 2 consecutive world cups in 2010 and 2012, which made Spain to become the first country to retain the world cup.

But serious health scares has put Casillas out of play, following a life-changing surgery back in 2019. He announced his retirement from football back on the 18th of February, 2020.

However, with the hatchet buried with President Florentino Perez, the club legend is due to make his return to the Spanish side.
