The disciplinary body of the European Football Association, UEFA has imposed a twelve months suspension on Ajax Amsterdam Goalkeeper, Andre Onana.
The 24 years old Andre Onana was suspended for a doping violation.
Earlier on October 30, 2020, after an "out of competition" check was conducted on Onana it was revealed that a substantial called Furosemide was found in his urine.
Ajax football club however claims that this substance found in Onana's urine was a result of his wife's drug that the Goalkeeper accidentally took.
The UEFA 12 months suspension effective from today 5th of February 2021 and applies to all football activity both national and international.
UEFA who will never condone any doping act from any player has now handed 12 months bank to Andre Onana this means that the Cameroon goalkeeper will not be able to participate in any football activities fir a year.
