Sadiq Umar was the hero for Almeria football club last weekend, as he scored a fine brace in their convincing 4-0 away victory over Alcorcon FC, and that has taken his total League goals of the season to 4.
The Nigerian international was the second highest goal scorer in Spanish Laliga SmartBank League last season, as he scored the total number of 23 League goals for the club, and he has also been doing pretty well this season.
The Nigerian international has already played six matches for Almeria FC this season, and he has scored four goals and provided 2 assists, and that has taken him to the top scoring chart.
Reacting after Sadiq Umar moved to the top of the SmartBank scoring chart, Laliga posted on their verified Twitter handle on Tuesday that;
"4 Sadiq Umar 🇳🇬
4 Stoichkov27 🇪🇸
The top scorers after Matchday 6 in LaLiga SmartBank! 🔝."
The Nigerian international will now be looking forward to continuing his impressive performance when his team play their next League game.
