Meet The Highest Paid Forwards In The EPL In 2022/23 Season

There are many top forwards currently playing in the English Premier League (EPL). However, only five of them presently earn above £200,000 per week. Let us take a look at these high earners.

The forward with the highest weekly wage in the EPL is Erling Haaland. The striker is placed on a wage of £375,000 per week Manchester City. This makes him joint second only to Kevin De Bruyne in the entire English top flight. The Norwegian striker moved to his current club on a fee of €66m. Meanwhile, his pay at Borussia Dortmund was £131,964. The 2020/21 UEFA Champions League (UCL) golden boot winner has justified his pay rise with 36 top flight goals for the Citizens this term.

The next player on the list of top earning forwards in the Premiership is Mohamed Salah who plays as a right winger at Liverpool. The two-time African Footballer of the Year earns a salary of £350,000. This makes him the top earner at Liverpool. Meanwhile, he has the same weekly wage as Jadon Sancho who plays from the left wing at Manchester United. Interestingly, the performances of this two players are contrasting. Salah has got 19 league goals for his club while Sancho has only netted five times.

Gabriel Jesus, a Brazilian striker is next. This Brazil international currently has a weekly wage of £265,000 at Arsenal. Thus he is the highest paid player at the North London club. However, not less than 3 Gunners' forwards have scored more goals than the former Manchester City star. The only other forward that currently earns above two hundred pounds per week is Anthony Martial who is a striker at Manchester United. His salary is £250,000/week this season. Meanwhile, the Frenchman has got 8 goal involvements to his name this season.
