
Nigeria have been hit with yet another bad news as one of Super Eagles Star, have now tested positive for COVID-19.
Bordeaux forward and Super Eagles Star, Samuel Kalu, has tested positive for COVID-19, hereby becoming the second Super Eagles star to contract the disease after Genk striker, Paul Onuachu.

The Super Eagles Star has been quarantined in France since returning from the West African nation, and a report from AFP confirmed that Kalu was the player announced by the club to have contracted COVID-19 on July 6.

The winger has missed the team’s training sessions since the opening of camp and might be left out of some of the club’s pre-season games.
However, his Super Eagles colleague, Paul Onuachu who tested positive to the deadly virus has now tested Negative according to the last test conducted on him.
It was said that Samuel Kalu was taken to the hospital during the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt on the Eve of the Super Eagles opening match after he slumped in training ground.
