Group H Table After Chelsea Won 1-0 and Juventus Beat Malmo 3-0

Chelsea kicked off their UCL-title defending Journey when they hosted Russian Champions Zenit St. Petersburg at Stamford Bridge today at 20:00 GMT West African Time.

Simultaneously, Juventus kick-started their Post-Ronaldo UCL era with a visit to Malmo all in the first group matches of group H. Chelsea v Zenit and Juventus v Malmo FC

Chelsea is the defending Champions were expected to get all three points against a lesser side like Zenit, however, The game told a very different story. The first half or perhaps the entirety of the game was majorly dominated by Chelsea, but Zenit fought back with Pace, agility and resilience.

Tuchel's UCL-winning squad struggled to create chances worth scoring as a well organised and clogged Zenit defence held them at bay. The blues mostly came from the wings as the middle was impenetrable.

Nevertheless, the Zenit defence gave way to a cross from Azpilicueta which €115m-valued Lukaku headed home to put Chelsea 1-0 up and eventually give them that vital three points as they now sit 2nd place on the group table.

Juventus on the other side of the World were comfortably beating their opponents Malmo 3-0 featuring goals from Left-back Sandro, Dybala and Morata. Juventus three-goals puts them top of Group H above Chelsea with a goal difference.
