According to recent report they may be unable to sign Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Gunners were widely expected to sign the Cameroonian last month, but no contact has been made.

Onana is in the final year of his contract, but owing to a FIFA ban, he won't be able to play until November 4.

The Gunners are debating whether or not to make a bid, and according to L'Equipe, Lyon has entered the competition.

Peter Bosz, the new Lyon manager, previously led Onana at Ajax, when they reached the Europa League final in 2016/17.

Les Gones are apparently contemplating an approach for Onana's services, since he is keen on a reunion with Onana.

Last year, Onana was valued at more than £30 million, but he might be available for just £7 million this summer, according to reports.

Chelsea has been linked with the former Barcelona graduate in the past, but they are currently content with Edouard Mendy.
