Chelsea were defeated by a determined Manchester City team by a lone goal, Manchester United were surprisingly defeated by Aston Villa at Old Trafford, while Liverpool were held to a 3-3 draw by newly promoted side, Brentford. These results come as an advantage to Brighton, as a win tonight will see them topping the EPL table for the first time this season.
Graham Potter's men have been excellent this season. They have just lost one EPL game this season, defeating a decent team like Leicester City, and a hard Burnley side at Turf Moor. The team is currently on high spirits, with Yves Bissouma being the engine room of the team. But the question is, "can they get a win against Crystal Palace tonight?".
Crystal Palace are still trying to get a strong footing under new manager, Patrick Vieira. Although they defeated Tottenham, but they have failed to turn up in the rest of the matches they played.
The head-to-head statistics shows that this fixture has been an exciting one over the years. From the last five matches, Brighton have won just one game, drawing two. It is going to be an exciting match tonight, but I will expect Brighton to win tonight.
