UCL: Check Out 11 Players With The Highest Champions League Goals This Season

The third group match of the 2021/2022 UEFA Champions League is finally over, as there were lots of twist and turns from various teams.

The group matches which started on Tuesday, saw the likes of Manchester City (City won Club Brugge 5-1), Paris Saint Germain (PSG won RB Leipzig 3-2), Liverpool (Atletico lost to Liverpool by 3 goals), FC Porto (AC Milan lost 1-0 to Porto), Sporting CP (Sporting won Besiktas 4-1), Ajax (Ajax defeated Broussia Dortmund 4-0), Inter Milan (FC Sheriff lost their first champions league match to Inter Milan in a 3-1 encounter) and Real Madrid (Madrid defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0) securing all three points in the various groups (A total of 35 goals was scored). 

However, Barcelona (Dynamo Kyiv lost to Barcelona by a goal to nothing), Bayern Munich (Benfica lost 4-0 to Bayern), Manchester United (Manchester United came from behind to win 3-2 against Atlanta), Villarreal (Young Boys lost 4-1 to Villarreal), FC Salzburg (Wolfsburg lost 3-1 to FC Salzburg), Chelsea (Chelsea won Malmoe 4-0) and Juventus (Zeint St. Petersburg lost 1-0 to Juventus) all won their matches in the second phase of the third matches of the group stage (A total of 24 goals was scored). Lille and Sevilla were the only teams not to score, as the match ended in a draw.

Ajax forward Haller, has a total of 6 goals, Lewandowski has scored 5 goals for Bayern, Salah has 5 goals for Liverpool, Nkunku has 4 goals for Leipzig, Vanaken has 3 goals for Club Brugge, Ronaldo has scored 3 goals for Manchester United, Sane has 3 goals for Bayern, Adeyemi has 3 goals for Salzburg, Mahrez has 3 goals for Manchester City, Griezmann has 3 goals for Atletico Madrid and Messi has 3 goals for PSG.
