Leandro Trossard came into an Arsenal team that was flying in January, but his impact so far has shown why he deserves to start their remaining Premier League matches over Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners have a perfect record whenever Trossard was included in the starting lineup for a league match, winning all 8 matches the Belgian has played as a starter.
In February, Arsenal went 3 games without a single win while Trossard was on the bench, but once Mikel Arteta decided to start him, they won 7 league matches in a row.
Surprisingly, Arteta benched him and Arsenal went 4 games without a win in April. This month, Trossard returned to the starting XI and helped Arsenal to a 3-1 victory over arch rivals, Chelsea.
With 4 matches left to play, Arteta should make sure Trossard starts all of them. Who knows, Man City may drop points and Arsenal might eventually win the league if they pick up 12 points from 12.
