From near relagation two years ago to being in the top 4 teams of the premier league, Chelsea has had a speedy growth that has been made possible by a change in a coach, a change in playing style, and a unified team with one goal in mind: "Winning".

Looking at their rise through the seasons, one cannot help but appreciate the reason for it, with their signing of Frank Lampard, to weathering a transfer ban that took close to two seasons go be lifted, they've had a tumultuous journey to where they currently are at the league table, and deserve every bit of it.
Another major reason for their ever improving form lately, is not only their signing of young players, but also the fact that they play these young talented players on the field, especially since on a normal day, Chelsea can never start an EPL match with players like that.
Starting players like Mount, Abraham, Gilmour, James, Tomori, Hudson Odoi, et.c, or even allowing someone like Frank Lampard to coach them is a surprise move by the Chelsea team, especially as they are more likely to sign a world class coach who they will probably sack after two months, or use 50 million pounds to buy a flop striker who has gotten respect, and experience, than to start players like Abraham or mount in EPL matches.

Finally, No matter how this season ends, Chelsea has really proved themselves, especially with the newly signed players they have, and taking a brief look at the stats of the newly signed players, we have that Mount has played around 30 EPL matches for us this season, while Abraham over 25 matches. Tomori has played 17 EPL matches (and would have played more if not for injuries, while James and Gilmour has featured in over 15 EPL matches between them, and with ace performances from Mount, teenage Gilmour snagging back-to-back Man of the Match awards, and a Championship striker like Abraham scoring a hattrick against Wolves, you can't help but commend the blues for their hard work.
Chelsea has been in the Top 4 since November, are still in the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup semifinals. This is no small feat for a team that had a transfer ban for almost two years.
What do you think?. Does Chelsea deserve these accolades, or is their good fortune just a stroke of luck?. Kindly let us know your opinion via the comment section and don't forget to like and share this post so others can contribute their opinions too
