5 longest serving players at Chelsea currently.

5 Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in August 2016, although his stay at the club has been unpredictable. With the flip of a switch, the Spaniard went from being the best-left wing-back in the world to an ordinary left-wing-back.

Marcos Alonso has had a terrific season at Chelsea, and considering the start of the Premier League season, his tenure with the club is far from over. He has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2023, and if things go well in the following months, he might sign an extension next summer.

4 N'Golo Kante

N'Golo Kante has been with Chelsea since July 2016 and was one of Antonio Conte's first signings. The Italian manager was eager to collaborate with the Frenchman, who was in fine form at Leicester City. N'Golo Kante has since worked for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri, Frank Lampard, and Thomas Tuchel. Several players have come and gone from the team, but the Frenchman has remained.

3 Ruben Loftus-Cheek

In December 2014, Ruben Loftus-Cheek made his Chelsea senior debut. Jose Mourinho gave the midfielder his debut and he was immediately tipped for big things.

However, it was under Maurizio Sarri that he received his real shot in the first team, as he was utilized as a third-choice striker by Antonio Conte and eventually loaned out to Crystal Palace.

Loftus-situation Cheek's has deteriorated since his injury in a friendly, and he is allegedly a target for AS Roma this summer.

2 Andreas Christensen

Christensen was promoted to Chelsea's first team for the first time in 2013. He was included in Rafa Benitez's final game of the season, but he did not play. In October 2014, he made his Jose Mourinho debut as a right-back, two months before Ruben Loft Us-Cheek.

Despite his excellent performances, Jose Mourinho was unable to place him in the starting XI at the time, and his Premier League debut came late in the season, on May 24th, 2015, in a 3-1 win against Sunderland.

The Danish international spent two seasons on loan before returning to Chelsea's main team. He has been in and out of the starting XI throughout his time at the club and is now in the final year of his contract. But, according to accounts, Andreas.

1 Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea's captain, is now the club's longest-serving player. After Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League in 2012, the Spaniard joined the club.
