Premier League

Tuchel is the best coach in the world and 4 others things observed in the EPL this week

5) Manchester city striker problems finally catches up with them

For all the fuss about Man united's draw with Southampton earlier this season, it'll come as surprise to most football fans that Manchester city were also forced to drop precious points against the Saints at the Etihad stadium on Saturday.

City dominated a lion share of the possession like they've often done this season, however their inability to field a proper striker in a game where one was badly needed says alot about how Pep Guardiola's side might struggle to break down teams who are prepared to sit back and play for a point this season.

4) Arsenal continue resurgence

Arsenal continued their recent resurgence with a slender 1-0 win over Burnley away from home. That win propels Mikel Arteta's side to 13th on the table while they have managed to keep a cleansheet in both of the their league wins so far this season.

Good one for the Gunners faithful

3) Chelsea ahead of rivals in title race

Chelsea's performance against Tottenham Hotspur must have sent shivers running down the spine of the blues premier league rivals.

The Londoners are scoring goals at ease while their solid defensive setup has also seen them concede zero goals from open play so far this season. Chelsea are the team to beat in the Epl this season and it'll only take a miracle for rival clubs to stop them from winning the title.

2) David De gea and Lingard saves United and Ole Gunner Solskjaer

Ole Gunner Solskjaer can count himself a lucky man after his side's 2-1 comeback win over West ham united on Sunday evening.

Fresh from their 2-1 loss to Young Boys Bern last week, more pressure could have mounted on the Norwegian at Old trafford had his side not been rescued by a superb late goal from substitute Jesse Lingard and a late penalty save by David De Gea. Manchester united still have alot of improvements to do if they want to challenge for the league title this season

1) Thomas Tuchel is the best coach in the world

I'm certain PSG supporters would have been wishing Thomas Tuchel was given more time at the club last season following the massive transformation Chelsea have undergone under the German the short space of eight months.

Tuchel has not just effectively replaced Frank lampard at Chelsea, but he seems to have also turned the London club to serial winners as seen in their Champions league triumph last season while the blues have also started the new premier league season in superb form.

Personally, i think Thomas Tuchel is the best manager in football at the moment.
