Checkout What Manchester United Boss Said Rashford Must Do To His Football Career

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thinks Marcus Rashford must "prioritize his football" if he is to meet the dual responsibilities of playing for club and country.

The 23-year-old forward has received widespread plaudits for his off-field efforts to alleviate child hunger.

"He is getting into the ideal age for a footballer, and he has a challenge on his hands here at Manchester United - and a challenge on his hands to play for England," Solskjaer said.

Rashford was awarded an MBE in 2020 and received an honorary degree from the University of Manchester earlier this month.

However, according to Solskjaer, the forward must remain focused on his day job.

Rashford's off-field activities, according to the manager, have had no affect on his on-field performances.

As Rashford prepares to return from a shoulder injury following Euro 2020, Solskjaer remarked, "Marcus has done some extraordinary and fantastic things."

"However, he may now need to put his football first."

Rashford has already made 300 appearances for United and has 46 England caps.

"Marcus understands that we expect a lot from him," he said, "but we're going to give him the time he needs to get back to who he was and who he can be."

Do you think Manchester United boss is right about this????..
