Chelsea were able to defeat a Brighton and Hove Albion side away from home in an entertaining match. The home side who dominant most part of the game, but were put to sword by a clinical Chelsea side led by Timo Werner. The striker, who key to the first, as he won the penalty that was convert by Jorginho in the 23rd minute of the game. While Brighton were able to score an equalizer when Kepa Arrizabalaga fail to save a 22 yards shot from outside the box to give the Brighton side a deserved equalizer. Before Reece James score a wonderful goal from outside the box with is outside foot to give the blues back the led. Brighton has the chance to equalizer for the second time in the game, but they fail to do so as Lewis Dunk send a header wide as he was left alone in the box. Before Kurt Zouma volley in a tame header that was diverted by the boot of Adam Webster into the neat, to give Chelsea a underserved three points
Here is the three thing we learn from match.
3. Timo Werner will be an instant hit a Chelsea
Timo Werner will surely be the first striker for the blues. He has all the attribute to play dor a big club Chelsea and he shows us he will nemesis to defenders in the Premier League. Although Chelsea did not play well, he was the brightness spark for the blues in the game. His movement with the ball is superb and is pace will worry opposition defender which was evident through the game. He shows killer instinct, as he was able to capitalize on a mix up in the Brighton defence to win the penalty for the first goal, which is surely Chelsea miss last season. He will surely comes goods when he link up better with is teammates.
2. Chelsea need another Goalkeeper apart from Kepa
Many fans we're calling for Kepa to be given another chance to prove himself. But Frank Lampard was right to ask for another Goalkeeper to compete with Kepa for the first choice goalkeeper. Kepa Arrizabalaga, who shows the blues faithful that he is not cut for first choice goalkeeper role at Chelsea as he was a fault for the Brighton first goal as he fail to save a decent shot from 22 yards by Leandro Trossard, which seems saveable for a goalkeeper of is class. It's seems Chelsea will surely sign a goalkeeper before the end of the transfer window, with numerous report that Chelsea are close to complete is move Edouard Mendy, it's look like Kepa will lose is position as the first choice goalkeeper with performances like this.
1. Chelsea are far from their best.
The game shows a lot of Chelsea fans who are expected the club to compete for the title this season that they are still far from it. The Frank Lampard project will take time before it can come to good. The new signings shows that they will need time to blend in with the team. With just two out for the six signing we're able to make their debut for the club. Frank Lampard will known that his side must in a better performance than what they put up tonight in their next fixture against a Liverpool to stand a to get all the three point. But he would be happy they were able to get all the three points against a Brighton side that dominates most part of the game.
