Manchester United will hope to continue in winning ways as they prepare to travel to England National Stadium, Wembley Stadium, to face Stamford Bridge giants, Chelsea, in the Semifinals of the FA Cup.
The match match will be played on Sunday, 19th July, 2020, by 6.00pm. The match promises to be a tough encounter, as that has always been the nature of Man United and Chelsea game
Meanwhile, Chelsea go into this game with full confidence because they were able to labour past Norwich City 1-0 in their League match on Tuesday evening.
Here is Manchester United strongest possible starting line-up for the match:
David De Gea (Goalkeeper)
David De Gea was at his best in the last match against Crystal Palace. He was always alert and ready, as he made good saves to deny Milivojevic and Zaha. He rose to the occasion whenever he was tested. It was very nice of David De Gea.
Luke Shaw limped off late in the match with Southampton. Brandon Williams also limped off in the game. However, their injuries was not a very serious one. This means that Luke Shaw could make it back in time for the Chelsea FC match.
If he does make it back in time, he will continue his defensive duties at the left back position. He has been impressive since the resumption of football activities resumed in the English league.
Lindelof and Maguire tried their best to manage the attacking strength of Crystal Palace, as they kept clean sheet. Their ever productive partnership at the heart of the defense will continue on Sunday evening. Aaron Wanbissaka will complete the defense line-up for United.
Matic was rested in the Crystal Palace match, as he was not involved from the beginning. The midfield seemed unorganized until he was thrown in by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He had a good game. Therefore, he will start as usual.
Paul Poba, (in my opinion, the engine room of the team), has been superb at the middle of the park since he recovered from his long injury layoff. He showed his class against Crystal Palace, as he helped Manchester United to win.
He will start at the heart of the midfield with Nemanja Matic. They will need to do their very best in order to get hold of the game in midfield. They are currently in a phenomenal shape ahead of the FA Cup game against Chelsea on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford opened the score sheet for Manchester United on Thursday night with a nicely placed ball down the low left corner of the keeper's post. Guaita, Crystal Palace goalkeeper, had no chance. Rashford will play at the left side of the field as usual. He is gradually getting back to his very best.
Mason Greenwood will play at the right side of the pitch. Emerson Palmieri or Marcos Alonso have to be up and doing in order to stand a chance of containing the Manchester United wonder-kid. Greenwood has been almost unstoppable since resumption of soccer
January signing, Bruno Fernandes, will play behind Anthony Martial as usual. He was able to put himself on the assist sheet as he set Rashford on for the first goal. He had a shaky game against Crystal Palace but he will likely do better against Frank Lampard's Chelsea team.
As usual, Anthony Martial will lead the attack on Sunday evening. He put himself on the score sheet against Crystal Palace Football Club when he handled Marcus Rashford's pass nicely, to finish from close range. It was a superb finish. I think he will score again.
Because of the fact that Manchester United has already defeated Chelsea on three different occasions this season, they are favorites to progress to the finals. I think Man United would win 3-1.
However, Chelsea could upset Manchester United if they execute a better game plan. Let's see what will happen at Wembley on Sunday evening.
