World number 27, Fabio Fogini has promised to appeal against his disqualification describing the action to be unreal.

The Italian defaulted at the second set of the tie with Zapata Miralles, but evidence in view do not earmark that there was verbal abuse on the line judge.
"Hello everyone, I wanted to inform you about the disqualification subjected yesterday on 4-4 of the second set in the match against Zapata Miralles,” Fabio Fognini took to his Instagram handle on the incident
"On the field, I could not do anything other than accept the decision taken by the tournament supervisor," he wrote.
“I didn’t tell him anything, I paid for something that I didn’t do, that’s the first and clear thing that everybody has to know” the 33-year-old protested his innocence while leaving the court when he defaulted.
"But I want closure that what decision is incorrect and penalty, the supervisor’s report is incomplete and does not correspond to reality and, for this reason, I have decided to appeal for this reason.” he protested
