Meet Three Arsenal Legends With Photographs Of Their Statues Outside The Emirates Stadium

People like Arsene Wenger, Sir Alex Ferguson, Diego Armando Maradona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Johan Cruyff, Pep Guardiola and Pierluigi Collina are typical examples of footballing legends due to their impact on the round-leather game.

Arsenal football club also has its own legends as a club and their statues stand proudly outside the Emirates stadium in London. These legends are people who have contributed greatly into make Arsenal the club it is today as a brand.

1. Dennis Bergkamp: Nicknamed the "Non-flying Dutchman" by the Arsenal fans. Dennis Bergkamp arrived at Arsenal in the summer of 1995 with Bruce Rioch as manager for 7.5 million pounds. The appointment of Arsene Wenger in 1996 was the turning point in Dennis Bergkamp's career.

Arsene Wenger created a system that suit Dennis Bergkamp's incredible technique and his goal against Newcastle United in 2002 was voted the best Premier League goal of all-time in the league's 25 year existence.

2: Tony Adams: Nicknamed "Mr Arsenal" due to spending his entire playing career as a centre-back at Arsenal. Tony Adams played 672 times for Arsenal's senior team and scored 49 goals between 1983 and 2002.

3: Thierry Henry: Nicknamed "The King" due to his goalscoring and flair on the ball. Thierry Henry is Arsenal's all-time highest goalscorer with 228 goals for the club between 1999 and 2007 when he joined Barcelona. Thierry Henry is considered as one of the greatest strikers of all-time and one of the greatest players of the Premier League. Thierry Henry was also one of the first two players to be inducted into the Premier League "Hall Of Fame" this year.
