Manchester United football club will be looking to win their first major trophy under the management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after a busy summer transfer window.
And despite those additions, Manchester United have endured a difficult start to the season and are currently sitted in 7th position on the Premier League table following their 4-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday.
Coupled with that, Manchester United could now be rocked with reports that attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard is in line to leave the club when the transfer window opens.
The 28-year-old England International, who has been at Manchester United since 2011 has been in and out of the first-team squad over the previous seasons.
The experienced attacking midfielder enjoyed an interesting 2020/2021 season while he was on loan at West Ham United, where he scored nine goals and provided five assists in 19 appearances in all competitions.
But then, Jesse Lingard is back at Manchester United this season and has played eight matches, scoring two goals and creating one assist.
However, Jesse Lingard has less than one year left on his current contract with Manchester United and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, he could be pondering on a move away from the club.
And according to reports from Daily Mail, Jesse Lingard wants out of Manchester United and he is eyeing a move back to West Ham United when the transfer window opens.
The reports further claimed that Jesse Lingard is contemplating a £10million move away in January and he is already making personal arrangements to join West Ham United.
That said, Jesse Lingard will now aim to help his current club in every possible way ahead of his proposed move to West Ham United when the transfer window opens.
