The now retired centre forward had two spells at Manchester united with the longest being from 1988 - 1995 before moving on to Chelsea in the summer of 1995 where he spent 3 seasons.
Argentine midfielder Sébastien Veron is also one of the players who represented Manchester united and Chelsea during his playing days. The South American midfielder played for Manchester united before 2001 and 2003 before moving to Chelsea where he spent four years.
As one of the highest scoring players of his generation, Radamel Falcao is also one of the players who have played for both Chelsea and Manchester united.
The Colombian striker spent the 2014/2015 season on loan at Old trafford before joining Chelsea the following season on another loan spell.
Another player who has represented both Manchester united and Chelsea is Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic. Matic spent two spells at Chelsea with his second spell between 2014-2017 being the most fruitful one before moving on to join Manchester united in the summer of 2017 where he still plys his trade till date.
2) Juan Mata
Spanish midfielder Juan Mata also makes our list of players who have represented both Manchester united and Chelsea. The Diminutive Spaniard had a fruitful three year spell at Chelsea before moving to join Man united for a then club record fee in January 2014.
1) Romelu Lukaku
No 1 on our list is none other Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. The Big Belgian had a fruitless first spell at Chelsea before joining Everton and subsequently Manchester united where he spent just two seasons before moving on to join Inter Milan. The 28 year old is now back in his second spell at Chelsea after making a big money return to the Stamford bridge staduim last summer.
