Koeman became the only Barcelona manager in 81 years to lose his first three El Clasicos, coming after Madrid’s 2-1 win.
After the game, the Dutchman’s vehicle was sabotaged as he attempted to leave the stadium, with several followers displaying their frustration by surrounding his car.
Barcelona has decried the happening and claimed that they “will take security and correctional measures” to assure that the predicament is not repeated in the future.
“FC Barcelona publicly denounces the violent and supercilious acts that our manager encountered when leaving the Camp Nou. The club will take safety and disciplinary regulations so that such awful incidents do not happen again,” read the statement published on social platforms.
Barcelona who has now lost three of their last five games in all rivalries will be looking to reciprocate to winning paths when they travel to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night.
