Four Top Summer Signings that are yet to record a goal for their Club in Their Domestic League.

Having played five League matches for Paris Saint Germain, Lionel Messi remains goalless in the French League this season. The Argentine forward joined the French club from Barcelona on a free agent. He debuted for PSG against the Reims. He is yet to record a goal for the club in the league, but he eventually scored his first goal in the clash against Manchester City in their second UEFA Champions League match.

Messi has appeared in three matches in the league, playing a total of 190 minutes, he scores an average of 0 goals for every minute he’s on the pitch according to Stat.

Barcelona signed former Manchester City player Sergio Aguero on a free transfer last summer, as a potential replacement for Luis Suarez. The 33 years old is still waiting to make his debut for Barcelona having picked up an injury ahead of the 2021/22 campaign. It was confirmed then that it will take up to 10 weeks for him to return to the pitch, which probably means he would soon be back in the Barcelona squad. He has no record of a goal since he is yet to appear in any competition.

Antonio Griezmamn left Barcelona last summer for Atletico Madrid on a loan transfer deal worth €10 million with an option for him to stay permanently in the future. Initially, he was signed from the Club, and currently, he has made a second return to the club having failed to offer the best for Barcelona since his second arrival Griezmann has played a total of five matches in the league without recording a goal for Atletico Madrid in the league.

The England player debuted in United 5-1 opening match win against Leeds United, after which he has been featured in some numbers of matches in the league. The 21 years is yet to record a goal for the club in the league and other competitions respectively.
