Many might think that Chelsea's recruit, Datro Fofana isn't a good striker, but that's not the real fact here as Fofana might become Chelsea's next Drogba. But that isn't happening yet because Chelsea's manager, Graham Potter isn't helping Fofana. Thereby preventing him (Fofana) from becoming Chelsea's next Drogba.
How Potter is preventing Datro Fofana from becoming Chelsea's next Drogba:
Graham Potter's poor featuring of Fofana is affecting his (Fofana's) top form: There is a huge difference between training sessions and playing matches. And always judging a player on his training ability is quite wrong for some coaches. Some players match materials and fit even when they are involved in fewer training sessions. To be honest, Fofana can only improve in his performance when on the pitch and not while in training sessions. Potter should consider giving him more playing time to improve his game mentality and help him blend with the team.
Potter does not encourage him (Fofana) to improve in his (Fofana's) top form: The act of letting Kai Havertz finish the 90+ mins game for Chelsea's games is discouraging to the likes of Aubameyang and Datro Fofana who are also strikers. Even Pep Guardiola always substitutes Erling Haaland for Alvarez to come into the game even though Haaland might be banging in goals for Manchester City. The main reason why Pep always gives Alvarez playing time is to encourage and help him (Alvarez) to blend into games with his teammates. That is not the case with Potter, who allows Havertz to play full 90+ mind with/without scoring a goal and not bringing in Fofana. It is a great discouragement to Fofana. He (Fofana) will find it hard to improve his performance because he (Fofana) hardly gets the chance to improve as he doesn’t get playing times.
