Super Eagles of midfielder Kelechi Nwakali was on target for Anquela led Alcorcon football club of Spain on Monday night, in their 2-1 home victory over Castellon FC, in the week 34 of the Spanish Laliga SmartBank.
The former Arsenal football club of England star was given another starting role by coach Anquela, and he was able to guide his team to a deserved home victory.
Kelechi Nwakali started in the home team's midfield alongside Oscar Arribas, Juan Anguilera, and Daniel Odeja, and they were all outstanding for the host.
The host opened scoring through Xisco in the 4th minutes of the game, before Andrian Lapena equalized for the away team in the 22nd minutes, to end the first half 1-1.
Super Eagles star Kelechi Nwakali nets the winning goal for the host in the 73rd minutes, to end the match 2-1 in favour of the home team.
Kelechi Nwakali was outstanding for the home team throughout the whole duration, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a beautiful goal.
The 2-1 victory over Castellon FC has now taken Alcorcon football club to the 20th spot in the Spanish Laliga SmartBank League table, with 35 points from 34 matches played.
