Barca inform forward he is free to leave this summer but on one condition

Joan Laporta and the Barcelona board members are hoping to put together a team that can compete for silverware after a disappointing 2021-2022 season.

As a result, the Spanish giants have ensured the signings of Andreas Christensen, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha, Franck Kessie, and Robert Lewandowski this summer.

The 5 times European champions have also been linked to other priority targets like Jules Kounde, Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta, and Bernardo Silva among others this summer transfer market.

According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona has informed Dutch forward, Memphis Depay that he is free to depart Camp Nou this summer at the right fee.

The report points out that the Blaugranas have considered Depay to be surplus to requirements following the signings of Robert Lewandowski, Dembele, and Brazilian winger Raphinha.

The report adds that Tottenham has indicated a £17m proposal for the Dutch International but the Spanish giants are holding out for a fee that is closer to £20m for the 28-years-old.

Depay played 38 matches for Barcelona in all competitions last season contributing 13 goals and 2 assists in the process.
