Check out what Dutch Legend said about scraping the offside Rule from football

Dutch Legend Marco Van basten has proposed to get rid of the offside rule from football, claiming it would be much better to play the sport henceforth without the famous rule.

🎙Marco Van Basten 🇳🇱 insists on scrapping the offside rule: “If you do not have offside you have a lot less problems and the teams will still find other solutions to have a good game that will be just as spectacular as it is now but without this bad rule." 🏳️❌

The office rule was brought into play to prevent excessive scoring, and strikers sleeping in opposition half awaiting a through ball so they can easily score.

There was no offside in the Pele and Josep Becan era, both men scored 767 and 815 goals respectively, to become the first and second highest scorers in football history. Although Cristiano Ronaldo recently broke Pele's 767 goals to seat second only behind Josep Becan.

Football without the offside rule would be like a certain City without Securities guarding the properties and masses. A cancelation of the rule would allow mass statspadding of goals and introduce an unbalanced scoreline to the sport.

If football had no offside rule in place, CR7 and Leo Messi would be on a thousand Career goals each, as it stands. Scoring goals would become a piece of cake, creating unreal scorelines as we see in Tennis, Basketball and Rugby. For me, I completely disagree with Van Basten's proposal!!
