The summer transfer window ended with many clubs enjoying a successful summer transfer window. Many moves were completed and also many moves failed during the summer deadline transfer news. Mbappe's move to Real Madrid is among the failed moves during the summer deadline transfer window.
After a failed attempt to leave Paris Saint Germain last summer, French international Kylian Mbappe has opened up on his failed attempt to Real Madrid despite the Spanish club offering a huge amount of money.
The French international has now opened up and revealed that he was keen on leaving the club on amicable terms and also ensured the Ligue 1 club secure a huge fee required to secure a replacement for him.
"I asked to leave because, from the moment I did not want to extend, I wanted the club to have a transfer fee to have a quality replacement," Mbappe said.
The deal failed to materialize despite Madrid offering a huge transfer fee. Should he fail to extend his deal, Kylian Mbappe will leave for free next summer.
