CAR vs NIG: Two Players Who Played Poorly In The First Leg And Should Not Start Today's Game.

1. Frank Onyeka.

The Brentford midfielder was in good form for his club over the last 3 weeks but starting for Nigeria last time out, he played poorly. Onyeka offered little in the way of helping out the Super Eagles attack as he was overrun in midfield by the Stubborn Central African Republic midfielders in the second half of the game. It was quite a surprise to see him play that way and some would blame the coaches tactics for this. Today is the perfect time for the Super Eagles to avenge that defeat and Onyeka would have to sit this one out from the beginning and maybe come on as a substitute.

2. Ahmed Musa.

The Super Eagles captain put in no meaningful contribution during his time on the pitch after he came on as a substitute. The game was already looking like a deadlock for the Super Eagles and Musa was called on to help open up some spaces in the opponents defence but he failed to do that. He was just a passenger for the majority of the second half and that performance is not convincing enough to start him again today.

The coach Gernot Rohr have a big decision to make today ahead of the game at 2pm. He would have to make the decision on who to start between Osimhen and Paul Onuachu because both strikers have different profiles. Onuachu would be the perfect target man if the eagles are planning on using the width of the pitch while Osimhen is the perfect striker for runs in behind. It will be a tight game nonetheless and we expect the opponents to adopt the same approach they used few days ago.
