The USA man joined the Blues in a big money move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, but the 21-year old forward had tough start to life in the Premier League, suffering a long injury in January that stopped him from action for several months.

However, since the Premier League restart, Pulisic has been one of the best players for Frank Lampard with three league goals added and another assist in their 1-0 victory over Norwich on Tuesday night.

And Frank Lampard has praised the attacker for the way he has worked to adapt quickly into the Premier League, and believes Pulisic has the ability of becoming a top player.

Speaking to Sky Sports, when asked about how Pulisic's performance has improved since the Premier League restart, Lampard said;

"Well I have seen a massive improvement in all his games. Adapting to the Premier League is very hard because of the physical nature of the league and we have to remember the summer he had and how young he is.

"Also, just as his improvement is coming through, I probably want see him scoring more goals and providing assists because that's what the world best do in that position.

"I think he has the ability to do that as he continues to improve".
